Pastor Kelvin Postell\u2019s ministry experience began when he was initially ordained as a Deacon, and served in that capacity from 1989 until 2004 — when he was called by God to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2007, he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. Prior to launching Greater Works Church, Pastor Postell served as an Associate Pastor and Chief Financial Officer of the West Jacksonville Church of God in Christ (Bishop Gary L. Hall, Sr.), where he served for over 20 years. Pastor Postell also served as Treasurer and Episcopal Adjutant to his spiritual father, Bishop Gary L. Hall, Sr., Prelate-Central Florida First Jurisdiction COGIC.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

In January, 2015, Pastor Kelvin Postell was inspired by the Holy Spirit through scripture, John 14:12 NKJV (\u201cMost assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.\u201d) to plant Greater Works International Faith Ministries, Inc\/Greater Works Church in the Oceanway\/Airport Central area of Jacksonville. Obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Postell leased and refurbished a building for this new Church, and the Inaugural Service of Greater Works was on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Since its inception, God has blessed Greater Works\u2019 membership to increase. In order to accommodate its growing membership, Greater Works moved from the first location at 716 New Berlin Road (1,200 square feet), to our current location, 12263 Sago Avenue (8,500 square feet).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Pastor Kelvin Postell is happily married to his partner in life and ministry, Brenda Postell. They are the hosts of a popular, weekly radio talk show, \u201cCoffee Talk with the Postells\u201d, that airs on The Victory Station (FM 94.7\/AM 1360). The Postells share with the audience their personal insight, and give a biblical perspective on \u2018Life\u2019s Tough Issues\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>

Pastor Postell earned his degree in Computer Information Systems from Jones College. In addition to his responsibilities at the Greater Works Church, he is an on-air personality (The Minister In The Morning) at The Victory Station (FM 94.7\/AM 1360), with over 30 years of radio broadcasting experience. Pastor Postell is also the Vice President and Operations Manager of The Victory Station.\u00a0<\/strong>Pastor Postell is also an Entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Kel-Des, LLC (Turo Car Rentals) and\u00a0 CEO of Kelbren Financial Services, where he gives financial\u00a0 and credit coaching.<\/strong><\/p>

Pastor Postell and his wife are the proud parents of five children, Brittany, Kelvin II,\u00a0<\/strong>Desiree, James and Jamie.
